Blue was formed in 1996. We are, we believe, the only agency offering holidays in rural Andalucía who actually live here. Our offices are in Bubión, a little mountain pueblo in Las Alpujarras on the southern slopes of Sierra Nevada. Click here for more information about Bubión.
We are a mix of one from Granada, one from Marbella, two from Madrid, one from Lille in northern France, one from Stockholm, one from County Donegal, two from England and one whose parents are English but has lived here since she was three. Everyone speaks good English. One does the accounts, one keeps the computers functioning, one takes the photos and the rest of us do our best to find the right holiday for you, and to make sure that everything goes smoothly for you whilst you are here.
At a rough guess, we have sold about 18,000 holidays by now. We have bulging file after bulging file of emails from clients who loved their holiday with us. Many come back year after year. Many recommend us to their friends.
We love Spain, we have been here for many years and (most of us) speak the language fluently. We have been lucky enough to discover some of this country's multitude of delights, and we hope we can pass a little of that knowlege and experience on.
We get hundreds of property owners every year asking if they can put their houses on our web site. Well, yes they can, if we think it's a good one which has something special to offer and the price is fair. We reject far more than we include. We visit every property and we do our best to write an honest appraisal of it. We listen to what our clients have to say and if, as occasionally happens, something isn't quite as it should be, we are here to make sure that something is done about it.
Almost all property owners have their own web page these days and it is, of course, often a bit cheaper to book directly with them. But, do you really know what you are going to get? What insurance cover do they have? Will anyone be on hand to sort out any problems which may arise whilst you are there?
We have chosen our selection of holidays carefully, whether it's because they offer something special or because they offer excellent value for money. Our web site has been designed, photographed and written by us and we hope that our holidays are represented on it with honesty and clarity.
Above all, we offer you a service. We will do our very best to make sure you get the holiday you are looking for. Always, we hope, with efficiency and with courtesy.
Apart from English and Spanish, we have people in the office who are fluent in French and Swedish and we are pleased to communicate with you in these languages if you prefer.
We have a web site in Spanish and, one day, when we can find the time, we hope to make a French language version.
Rustic Blue S.L. is a Spanish travel company constituted
under Spanish law, registered in the Ministry of Tourism, and complies
fully with all legal, financial and insurance requirements. Our official
registration number is CIAN 18449-2. We are a member of both the Spanish
Federation of Travel Agents and the Granada Association of Travel
Companies.
As a fully-bonded travel agency Rustic Blue S.L. has rigorous insurance cover as required under European Union law.
