It is a great location, private and intimate, tranquil and unspoilt. Here you will really appreciate the fresh air, sunshine and birdsong of a delightful rural landscape. The surrounding countryside has the feel of genuine working farmland rather than that of a holiday destination.
There's lots more beauty close at hand, too: El Torcal, the Montes de Málaga, El Chorro, Guadalteba Lake (and its narrow pass, Los Gaitanes), offer an incredible variety of topography and natural wealth.
Not surprisingly, the views from the terraces are fantastic. On a clear day they extend to the Mediterranean Sea. The extraordinary, rugged rock formations of El Torcal are less than half an hour's drive away. Horse riding is even closer, available nearby.
Great day trips to some of Spain's best historical cities, Seville, Córdoba, Granada and Antequera, are all possible thanks to the property's location in the heart of Andalucía.
Inside, the house is well finished and furnished. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and good sized, comfortable beds. Wooden beams, earthen tiles, cane ceilings, original doors and windows have been carefully restored to maintain the rustic atmosphere. These are complimented by modern appliances - a dishwasher, central heating and satellite TV .
Good as it is inside, our guess is that you will want to spend as much time as possible outdoors, enjoying a barbecue on the porch perhaps, or lounging by the pool. Wherever you are on the property, you will be surrounded by rolling hills and countryside bliss.
