This is a very special holiday villa. Located deep within the Tarifa Natural Park, this wonderful property is totally secluded, surrounded by the verdant greenery of pine forests, yet just 15 minutes walk from an equally secluded beach. Its golden sands and beautiful dunes are effectively all yours as it's virtually inaccessible to the general public.
So here you can enjoy complete privacy amid gorgeous, wild and wonderful nature, with views to the Atlantic Ocean and the African coastline beyond which are totally absorbing and completely irresistible. This is real and very rare beauty, making this one of the most unique places to stay anywhere in Europe, never mind Andalucía.
Just ten kilometres from Tarifa, the last kilometre to the villa is along an unpaved track (easily passable in a normal car) through the pine forests. Suddenly, dramatically, the bay opens up before you and there is the villa, its soft hues of pastel glinting in the sunshine surrounded by wild but colourful gardens. The hills which surround it, at the rear and on both sides, create a natural wind-break, making this one of the calmest and most sheltered situations anywhere on the (frequently windy) Costa de la Luz.

Recently constucted, the villa itself is lovely. South facing, it enjoys full sunshine from dawn until dusk. Along the entire front (and continuing around the side), the covered terrace area provides a perfect spot to take in the view over a leissurely outdoor lunch or just to relax with a good book and, no doubt, a glass of something equally as good close at hand. Just in front, a small kidney-shaped pool (approx. 4 m x 2.5 m) is ideal for the children to enjoy a splash about, and for adults to cool down after a bit of mid-summer sun.
Sliding glass doors open out to this terrace from the living space inside. At one end is the very well equipped kitchen / dining area which extends through to the lounge with its comfortable sofas and armchairs, its satellite TV, home-cinema stereo, internet access et al. All furnishings are of excellent quality.
Cleverly designed to gain maximum enjoyment of the stupendous views over the ocean and the ever-changing light, this is a a very attractive space. A bathroom (shower only) completes the downstairs distribution.
The three bedrooms, all with attractive mosquito nets, are upstairs. There is one double with its own en-suite shower room, and two twin-bedded rooms which share a third (full) bathroom between them. In one of the twin rooms, the beds can be pushed together if preferred. Two of the bedrooms have fantastic sea views. As elsewhere in the villa, the rooms are modern in style but in keeping with local tradition with their terracota floors and wood-beamed ceilings.
Should you wish to explore a little further afield, there's plenty more to enjoy around and about, here at the southern-most tip of Europe. Tarifa, at the point that separates both Europe from Africa, and the Mediterranean Sea from the Atlantic Ocean, is a surfing paradise and it's lots of fun. The long stretches of white sandy beaches
on the Costa de la Luz are there for you to discover. There's Gibraltar 'around the corner' and the white
villages and ancient towns of inland Cádiz to explore.
For those who like to expend a little energy when on holiday, there are a wealth of nature related activities: horse riding, mountain biking, rock climbing, bird watching, trekking, tennis, hang-gliding, scuba-diving, fishing and whale watching … and, of course, wind and kite surfing.
And there's always the option of a day trip to Morocco … fast ferries leave regularly from both Algeceiras and Tarifa, it's a wonderful trip (especially the longer, three hour trip from Algeceiras to Tangier), the ships often accompanied through the Straits by dolphins and even whales. When you step ashore, you will certainly know that you are in a different world!
But you may not be tempted away from this wonderful property at all! There is something very special, almost magical, about this villa and its location, overlooking one of the world's great oceans.
