The small town of Órgiva turns into countryside just a lemon's throw from the market square. From here it's just a short stroll to the centre.
This eclectic and cosmopolitan little town comes alive every Thursday morning as the streets become lined with stalls selling fruits and vegetables, hand made crafts and clothes.
Granada, the beaches of the Costa Tropical and the old, Moorish villages of the high Alpujarra are all within driving distance for day trips.
