This typical Andalusian farmhouse, set amongst the delightful rolling hills of olive groves and wheat
fields of the Poniente Granadino, is as traditional as you
will find.
The main farmhouse has been divided into two rental units, one on each floor. One has three bedrooms, the other has four. At the side of the garden, the original wood shed has been converted into a small studio apartment sleeping two.
ZM16(1) El Granero, tthe old grain store, on the first floor of the farmhouse, is reached by exterior stairs and sleeps six. Of the three,
it is the most rustic, with its beautiful old ceilings of beams and cane, stone
and terracotta floors and decorations which include many farm implements. It's
a style of building and decoration which can only be found in a genuinely old
farmhouse such as this.
ZM16(2) El Cortijo is on the ground floor and sleeps 5/7. It is also tastefully decorated in traditional style with careful attention to detail. Furnishings are rustic but comfortable. It has its own private patio.
There is an interior staircase which joins these two apartments. The door between the two can be locked to keep them separate
and independent, or left open to make a complete holiday home for a party of 11 or more.
ZM16(3) La Leñera is the small studio apartment sleeping two, at the side of the garden.
All three share a pleasant patio shaded by a grapevine and the attractive swimming
pool and its terrace area. From here there are uninterrupted views over the
soft, rural landscape all around. It's a delightful place to
relax and enjoy real countryside tranquility under the warm Andalusian sun.
Clients are welcome to help themselves to the produce of the small organic vegetable garden next to the swimming pool.
Situated at the heart of Andalucía, this is an ideal rural idyll from which to travel to many of the most beautiful areas of Southern Spain: the fabulous, historic cities of Córdoba, Sevilla and Granada, the high peaks of Sierra Nevada and the beaches of the Costa Tropical and the Costa del Sol.
