This

on its own private estate in this very pretty part of Andalucía.
All on one floor, it was completed in 2004, everything newly
furnished and fitted-out. Below its woodbeam-and-plaster ceiling, a beautifully
spacious open-plan area extends from an attractively tiled and roomy kitchen area
at one end to the dining space and comfortable sitting area, where large windows
fill the room with natural light.
French windows lead out to a south-facing,
wrap-around sun terrace and the swimming pool within private gardens. There is
nothing but gorgeous rolling countryside as far as the eye can see and the views
are tremendous: all the way to El Hacho mountain and to the Sierra de las Nieves
beyond.
Surrounded by forests, hills
and river valleys, there are excellent walking tracks, spectacular views and,
during migration, masses of birds passing overhead. It is an area of outstanding
natural beauty famous for its spring wild flowers and also offers excellent riding,
golf and beaches, all within half an hours reach.
The spectacular and still authentic
town of Ronda is an enjoyable hour's drive away, over the mountains and deep valleys
of some spectacular countryside. The pretty 'pueblos'
of Gaucín and Jimena de la Frontera, with their labyrinths of tiny cobbled streets
and Moorish castles, are even closer.
The
English owners live a few hundred yards away where they run residential natural
history holidays. They know the area well and are always pleased to help with
local information.
