This self-contained studio apartment is attractively decorated, neat, tidy and comfortable. Slate floors and chestnut beamed ceilings give it a proper Alpujarran feel, nicely set off by colourful fabrics and furnishings.
And it has an attractive terrace too, a lovely spot to sit, surrounded by the classic, traditional chimney pots of neighbouring village houses, the view extending over the rooftops to the mountains on the other side of the Poqueira Valley.
The studio apartment is all on one floor. Please note however, that the bathroom is on the floor below, accessed by a rather steep little stairway.
Bubión is one of the mountain villages of the higher Alpujarra, well preserved with its flat, Moorish roofs, winding little streets and distinctive architectural style. The pace of life is slow and peaceful, the countryside all around beautiful and inspiring.
The apartment is in the very heart of the village. It's a good location, easy to get to but away from the bustle and bars on the main road.
