"A very lovely week spent in this most splendid of locations The house is perfect for a week away We rarely left the pool in temperatures of 34-38C degrees. Quite frazzled. The mountains are quite unbelievable; the pool shower one of the best views from any shower in the world! Jenny and David wherever We holiday usually a Mediterranean villa we’ve always tried to compromise on destination. I David like views, wildlife and a bit of privacy The girls like sun, pool and nearby towns. Casa Simone has served it up in spades. Probably the nicest best kitted out and location friendly villa we have ever had the privilege to visit. So thank you very much. We have been around here before but never to Competa so this was to be a relaxing time, no big trips, just local walking lazing and food. It has been great. Completed some local walks using your maps and publications. I loved the view from Puerto del Colledo; worth the hike Nice. To see Short Toed and Booted Eagles every day plus plenty of Bee Eaters. The wasps were all family friendly. Managed to get 6 Ghekos around the light in the evening, picking off the poor old moths while we were enjoying cards and dominoes. While having a lovely drink in a great setting and climate. We managed to time our visit with the great European heatwave and it was hot! The pool was perfect and the garden lovely making the weather bearable. Like many others it seems El Pilon is our favourite restaurant and we go there tonight for our last evening. Every course was a delight. We are at the other square restaurants too. Not quite as good but a lovely ambience just the same, many a pleasant hour spent people watching. "David and I spent a lovely week staying at Casa Simon. Just what we needed a relaxing break away in such a beautiful setting. Peace and quiet with no specific agenda. The wether was glorious and we enjoyed the pool, bars and restaurants as well as having some great barbecues Plus you have some great reading material. "Driving over Lemons" - Fab! "The villa is situated in an idillic location with stunning views. The exterior has a wonderful pool, driveway for 2 cars and is incredibly neat and tidy. The interior is very clean and modern with a Spanish feel, spacious and homely. The sun rests on the property all day with the opportunity to watch it set behind a nearby mountain by the pool.
