This stunning family home is in a residential area on the Costa del Sol. It exudes style and comfort - from top to bottom, inside and out ...
Exclusive
This is the location of choice for many rich who have settled in and around Marbella.
This beautiful home has one of the most convenient locations on the Costa del Sol.
On the northern side of Marbella climbs steadily upwards into the hills of Sierra Blanca which rise up immediately inland from the coast. Three kilometres from the sea, at an altitude of 300 metres is where you will find this private community.
It’s very easy to understand why many have chosen this location to build their homes. Totally peaceful, the setting is sensational. Just behind you is the verdant hillsides and mountain terrain of La Sierra Blanca, the fantastic backdrop to truly wonderful, panoramic southerly views. One looks down over Marbella to a huge, magical vista of coastal charisma far below.
An oasis of tranquillity
So peaceful, the setting is simply sensational. Verdant hillsides are the backdrop to wonderful, panoramic coastal views.
Beyond, the shimmering Mediterranean glistens gloriously blue, stretching right across the horizon. It’s a view one will never tire of, whatever the time of day – or night. Watching from the terrace the golden sun setting over the sea is just one of many delights here.
Only minutes away from the 26 kilometres of glorious coves and fine, sandy beaches which surround Marbella, from the glitz and glamour of Spain’s premier coastal hot spots (Puerto Banús is literally ‘down the road’), within easy reach of half a dozen of the world’s best golf courses, and short drive from the coastal motorway, right here it’s an oasis of tranquillity.
And behind, up in the hills, you have the fabulous natural beauty of the Sierra de Ronda mountain range.
Space and comfort
The villa is decorated to a high standard, with fine furnishings throughout - and lovely details to match.
Everything is calm and joyful. A friendly neighbourhood of first class residences which offers a complete – yet complimentary – contrast to the palm fringed, golden beaches and super-cool lifestyle just down the hill. So near to everything – yet a different world!
And this is one of the very best of them … it exudes space and comfort – from top to bottom, inside and out.
Lovingly decorated , with good taste and fine furnishings throughout – and fine details to match.
Not least of the advantages of this quite splendid home is that it is exactly that – a real home, designed and decorated by its owner as a family home for her children to grow up in, in the style, space and light she had enjoyed as a child in the open countryside.
So it’s perfectly equipped and beautifully maintained – as all real homes should be.
Double gates open directly into the enclosed garden and parking space for two cars with parking. One enters into a delightfully planted attractive, enclosed garden – a profusion of colourful plants and trees all around.
Bougainvillea, jasmine and plumbago clamber up and over in a riot of spring and summer colour, at the same time providing dappled shade over the entrance; olive, palm and pine trees stand guard here and there.
Welcome to the good life!
Imperious views
Looking down over Marbella to a huge, magical vista of coastal charisma far below.
Grand double wooden doors open to the entrance hallway. Calm and composed, furnished beautifully, a staircase leading to the upper floor.
It sets the tone perfectly for the delights which follow throughout the rest of this fabulous house.
A few steps down takes you to an enormous and well appointed living room, sumptuously comfortable and very serene. A double door leads to a smaller “winter” sitting room, truly cosy under its partly beamed, vaulted ceiling.
Original paintings adorn the walls, soft lighting casts a warm glow over plump sofas and furnishings. Its cool, blissful ambience is enhanced by air conditioning (throughout the house). Three sets of double doors open to the covered terraces and garden beyond.
An archway takes you through to the dining area alongside, equally appealing with it’s elegant dining table taking centre stage. Also with double doors to terraces and garden.
Style and comfort
If you are looking for style, comfort and quality of life - plus the panache which is Marbella - then look no further.
The kitchen is, of course, impeccable! And very pretty too with its cheerfully coloured tile work and relaxed, easy style. You will want for nothing here, it’s a very well equipped, and homely, it’s a true country-style kitchen. Complete with an attractive breakfast area, a lovely space, light flooding in from the glass doors which open on to the gardens and terraces outside.
Returning to the hallway, a door leads to the first of the ground floor bedrooms. Decorated in elegant tones of white and beige, with a comfy chair to relax in as the cool breeze and sunlight pour in thought the extra large window that faces the tranquil, leafy greenery of the garden. This room enjoys a full en-suite bathroom. There is a second bedroom (the former office) that has twin beds.
Tucked away under the stairs there’s a utility / laundry room.
There is also a WC in the hallway.
All mod-cons
There's air conditioning throughout, good WiFi internet connection, and many terraces to enjoy.
The other four bedroom are upstairs. They are every bit as delightful …
The master suite is superb, serene and classically furnished (as are all rooms in this villa). The luxury en-suite marble bathroom includes both a walk-in shower and bath tub (with jacuzzi); there’s masses of built-in wardrobe space and the king-sized double bed faces the private terrace, you can lie in bed and contemplate the fantastic – and ever changing – views down to the coast.
The second double bedroom lacks nothing in comparison – it’s another beautiful room which also enjoys the fabulous southerly views from balcony windows. The spacious en-suite bathroom beautifully tiled with a shower over the bath tub.
The other two upstairs bedrooms are twins, sharing a bathroom.
It is, of course, a house with all mod cons – there’s air conditioning throughout. There’s good WiFi internet connection.
A terrace runs all the way along the front of the villa, offering delightful sitting and dining areas, some in shade, some in full sun.
Obviously, there are other villas around and about but none interrupt the magnificent views down to Marbella and seascapes beyond.
A beautiful swimming pool
It goes without saying that the pool and its adjacent summer gazebo are fabulous, entirely in keeping with the inviting surrounds.
To the front of the house a small lawned area with a few steps down to the inviting pool.
To the side, a lovely, summer gazebo with a dinning area, plenty of seating, an outdoor kitchen with barbecue, open all the way around, with white curtains catching the breeze, this is an ideal shady spot to relax and enjoy the day!
To the other side sun loungers for anyone wanting to enjoy the direct sun…although there are also parasols offering shade if wanted.
If you are looking for comfort and quality of life – plus the panache which is Marbella – then look no further.
This is a beautifully appointed property of good quality – from top to bottom, inside and out – which offers the perfect setting for a marvellous holiday on the Costa del Sol.
Andalucia at its absolute, heavenly best
Magnificent beach and seascapes
Marbella has a marvellous micro-climate, many claim it’s the best of all, and a coastline to match, some 26 kilometres of sun-drenched beaches bathed by the Mediterranean Sea.
There’s something to suit everyone here, with live music, theatre and shows, casinos and clubs, fabulous restaurants and beach bars, not to mention just about every sporting activity under the sun.
Marbella has carefully cultivated its image over recent years as Spain’s answer to St Tropez, a place for jet-setters and film stars, a glitzy playground for the rich and famous.
The ultimate in coastal charisma, Puerto Banús, is just five kilometres from the villa. This is the place to be “seen”, yacht-side of course! Needless to say, nightlife is buzzing here with alfresco bars, piano clubs and discos which are open dusk until dawn.
Marbella, here we come!
There's something for everyone here - sun and sand, casinos and clubs, shopping and restaurants, a nightlife which buzzes from dusk until dawn.
A seaside resort par excellence with a lot going for it – but there’s also more to Marbella than that. It’s also a very attractive town with genuine Spanish character and individuality – as a trip to the lovely old part of town, El Casco Antiguo, will testify.
It’s very pretty, a tangle of little streets, orange trees and traditional buildings with the atmosphere of a small village, rather than a cosmopolitan town. There are, of course, a plenty of restaurants to choose from, you can take a horse and carriage and travel around town in style, relax in one of the shady parks or just take a stroll along Avenida del Mar, arguably one of the most delightful promenades on the Costa.
If you wish to venture further a field, it couldn’t be easier. Excellent motorways will take you quickly along the coast, both east (towards Málaga) and west (to Gibraltar and Tarifa).
Or, head inland from Marbella on one of Spain’s most spectacular roads which continues its climb up into, then through the mountains, to Ronda. Other magical parts of Andalucia’s fabulous rural hinterland – the Grazalema Mountains and Sevilla to name but two – lie beyond.
